What's New In Adobe Lightroom?
Adobe Lightroom has received an update bringing new tools and improved optimisation for smartphone users.
The new Lens Blur feature will make it easier than ever to add an aesthetic blur effect to any part of a photograph without requiring an expensive camera lens. With the aid of AI, Lightroom users can now achieve bokeh effects easily and quickly. Plus, HDR Optimisation means that anyone can edit and export their photos with brighter highlights, deeper shadows and more vivid colours.
Lightroom desktop users can now access, edit, and organize locally stored photos without importing them. The new mobile-optimised editing experience has streamlined the Lightroom mobile toolbar, prioritising popular features and making it faster and more intuitive to edit photos on your smartphone.
The list of cameras and lenses supported by the software has been expanded and Adobe has also added the following updates:
Adobe Lightroom desktop
- Fine-tune any individual colour in a photo with the Point Color tool.
- Easily access, organize, and edit locally stored photos in Lightroom using the Local tab.
- Quickly search and filter Likes and Comments on your images on Lightroom desktop.
- Access the Lightroom Academy blogs.
- Content Authenticity Initiative now supports additional file formats like AVIF, DNG, TIFF, and more.
- Show or Hide the Photos panel as per your requirement.
Lightroom for mobile (iOS and Android)
- The Geometry panel has been merged with the Crop panel.
- Profiles and Optics are available under View Options in the menu.
- The Info & Rating panel is now combined and available under the menu.
