Sunset Shot At The Black Beach Wins 'Photo Of The Week'

A stunning seascape photographed in Iceland has won our ‘Photo of the Week’ (POTW) accolade. 

Titled ‘Sunset At The Black Beach‘ and captured by Somerled7, this is a super shot full of lovely pastel colours and various interest points that hold your gaze. The rock in the foreground grabs your focus and breaks the beach foreground up nicely, adding a sense of centring to the image. The sea receding, leaving streaks on the beach and the atmospheric spray add a softness while the rocks that are almost silhouetted juxtapose nicely. Lovely composition, beautiful colours and a great atmospheric scene.
