Sony Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 IV Smartphones Announced

Sony has updated its Xperia line-up of smartphones with the introduction of the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V.

The Xperia 1 V will be available in late June for approximately £1299, in black, platinum silver and khaki green while the Xperia 10 V will be available from the middle of June onwards for £399, in Lavender, Sage Green, White and Black.

Sharing technology from the Sony Alpha camera series, the Xperia 1 V is designed to match the ever-evolving needs of creators with features such as  S-Cinetone, Creative Look and Real-time Eye AF built-in. There’s also a new image sensor built-in along with an 85-125mm optical zoom lens. Other features include a 5-inch 4K OLED display and a 5000mAh battery. 

The Xperia 10 V is less expensive than the Xperia 1 V making it more wallet-friendly and you get three rear cameras (16mm, 26mm and 54mm) with OIS, a 6.1-inch, full HD+ OLED display and a 5000mAh battery. The camera also uses scene, conditions and subject detection technology to automatically select the ideal settings for the best shot, so you don’t need to waste time choosing settings.
