Peaky Blinders Themed Portrait Wins 'Photo Of The Week'

A brilliant black and white portrait of a chap captured unaware has won our ‘Photo of the Week’ (POTW) award. 

ePz member martib attended a Peaky Blinders-themed get-together and this top-notch portrait is a candid shot of one of the partygoers. We love how the black-and-white processing strips everything back to textures and form with the subject’s facial expression really standing out. It has some grit and could be a poster promoting a new drama on TV. The off-centre positioning works well as do the darker, shadow areas sitting at the opposite end of the dynamic range scale to the shirt and face.

All of our POTW winners will receive a Samsung 128GB EVO Plus microSDXC memory card with SD Adapter offering memory storage across multiple devices. Plus, we will also announce our ‘Photo of the Year’ winner who’ll win a Samsung Portable SSD T7 in January 2024 courtesy of Samsung.
