For Free: Neurapix Integrates AI Masks For Photo Editing In Lightroom Classic

Neurapix Mask Comparison

Photographers using Neurapix for photo editing can now select AI-based masks to easily apply modifications such as brighter eyes or whiter teeth across an entire photoshoot with just two clicks. The use of AI masks is free of charge, available with both the Neurapix Flat rate and the Pay-per-Picture model.

A small update to the Neurapix plugin yields significant effects: when photographers access “Edit photos” through the Lightroom menu, they can now choose from various AI mask combinations directly below the SmartPreset selection to enhance their editing process. They can decide whether to use one of three pre-made Adaptive Presets from Neurapix or their own, ensuring a perfect match with their SmartPresets.

Neurapix has seamlessly integrated Adobe’s excellent AI masking into the existing workflow. Previously, this feature was only accessible through an additional step in the “Develop” module under Presets > Adaptive. In this Lightroom section, photographers also have the option to create and save their own masks, making them automatically accessible for the use with Neurapix.

“Our goal at Neurapix has always been to save photographers time. We followed this principle when integrating AI masks, as now only a maximum of two more clicks are needed to apply consistent adjustments across all photos. These include brightening the subject, smoothing skin, or enhancing hair texture,” says Simon Diegmann, co-founder and CCO of Neurapix.

Neurapix introduces new pre-made SmartPresets – including black/white

Users are finding a couple of pre-made SmartPresets included automatically with their first image editing session, free of charge. With the latest plugin update, Neurapix has replaced its three previous SmartPresets with three entirely new, high-quality styles and added two new black and white SmartPresets. Photographers can now use the following five SmartPresets for editing.

“With our new free SmartPresets, we aim to further simplify the entry into AI-powered photo editing for our users. Moreover, some photographers are even using these SmartPresets permanently, instead of creating their own,” adds CCO Simon Diegmann.
