The Canon RF 100-300mm F/2.8L IS USM is a new lens that those who enjoy sports photography, both indoors and out, might find particularly interesting.

Canon says they have reimagined the EF 300mm f/2.8 as a zoom lens to give photographers prime-level quality in a zoom.

As well as offering a flexible long zoom range. the Canon RF 100-300mm F/2.8L IS USM also has a minimum focusing distance of 1.8m with a 0.16x maximum magnification, a constant aperture and robust construction. The lens weighs 2.59 kg, is weather sealed and is Canon’s first ever super telephoto lens to feature a Dual Nano USM motor.

Fully compatible with the range of Canon RF extenders, the RF 1.4x extender can be used throughout the zoom range to produce a 140-420mm F4 lens, while the RF 2x extender can be used to produce a 200-600mm F5.6 lens.
