Black & White Street Capture Wins 'Photo Of The Week'

A very well-composed example of street photography has won our ‘Photo of the Week’ (POTW) award. 

Titled ‘In Tune‘, the shot, captured by Tony Smith, held our attention instantly as we were browsing the ePHOTOzine Gallery and it impressed many of our members, too.

We love the use of vertical lines and how the path takes the eye through the frame. The mono conversion also allows shape and form to take centre stage, giving you a chance to appreciate the composition and structure of the shot. The juxtaposition of light and shade is really excellent, too. As one member has said, the hot has all of the right elements in all of the right places.
