Vanguard VEO Select 36S Large Shoulder Bag Features
As the name suggests, the Vanguard VEO Select 36S Large Shoulder bag is, well, a shoulder bag that has room for 1-2 pro-DSLR/Mirrorless cameras with a grip, 4-6 lenses, a flash unit, 13″ laptop and accessories such as memory cards, batteries and chargers. There’s also a space for your tripod on the outside of the bag.
The interior is removable so you can use the VEO Select 36S as a day bag and a zip and a buckle keep your kit secure when travelling. There’s a top handle for when you’re just moving the bag from one place to another and for longer journeys, there’s a padded shoulder strap.
The bag is constructed from a water-resistant material with an additional seam-sealed rain cover provided for wetter days.
If you’re not a fan of green, there’s a black option available and you can also purchase a similar style in a smaller size.

The Vanguard VEO Select 36S Large Shoulder bag is a great option for carrying your camera gear when travelling or on assignments. It offers ample space and can also be used as a day bag when you don’t need your kit so really, you’re getting two bags for the price of one.
Practicalities aside, it looks really great! It’s very modern and the green colour option makes a fab change from the usual black camera bags available (although, this one is available in black should you prefer it).
On the front is a large flap that has a buckle fastener to keep kit secure when you’re travelling. There’s also a tripod pouch that neatly tucks your tripod away when travelling. Various pockets keep accessories safe and there’s room for a 13″ laptop.
The main interior is secured with a zip and the customisable space measures 370x175x230mm so there’s ample room for a wide variety of kit including 1/2 cameras, 4-6 lenses and your accessories.
The detachable shoulder strap is well padded, is adjustable and doesn’t slip off the shoulder. For shorter journeys, there’s a top handle that’s also padded which makes lifting the bag into storage easy.
As we’ve come to expect from Vanguard, the VEO Select 36S Large Shoulder bag feels and looks incredibly well made. It’s very strong, is well padded and is made from water-resistant material. You can feel the quality of the bag as soon as you pick it up and you know that it will last a really long time. Plus, for rainy days, there’s a rain cover.
